2009年3月5号更新tAB作品消息和剧照3张

四四收到tAB的电邮，《Thinking》有新消息，参加了3个电影节
thinking...in 3 excellent film fests!

	Our short film, thinking...will be shown at the Durango Independant Film Festival in beautiful Durango, CO on March 4th-8th. Check link for exact dates and showtimes. 3月4号—3月8号
	We will also be at the Female Eye Festival in Toronto, Canada on March 25th-March 29th. 加拿大，多伦多 3月25号—3月29号
	And, finally, thinking... will screen in its director's and producers' home town at the Atlanta Film Festival, April 16th -25th! 亚特兰大 4月16号—4月25号

People Food's Daniel Stessen and Mission Fantastic's Grant Worth have taken on the seemingly insurmountable task of editing our 48 hours of raw footage down to a feature length film. It is looking beautiful, and we can't wait to share it with you all.

Upcoming Projects

As we currently have many members on the West Coast, (tAB) has doubled up its creative efforts. We now have both NY and LA branches of our writer's group that continue to make new work. In LA, we have the first draft of what will be our first, full-length play (more info to come!), and in NY we have started a new music venture we are extremely excited about. Both projects are in their infant stages but promise to be innovative and provocative.

(tAB)'s first feature, Return Shift Escape, completed filming at the end of June and is being edited over the next few months. It was written by (tAB)'s Randy Harrison and People-Food's Daniel Stessen. It stars Randy Harrison, Christopher Stewart, Amanda Byron and Marci Adilman and was directed by Daniel Stessen. Sam Gezari was director of photography and Leah Jubara was our formidable Production Manager. The film was shot over three weeks in Altmar, NY on a beautiful, private lakefront property. An unbelievably special thanks to the Stessen Family, the Coolican Family, Art Scotti, Michael J. Rey, Grampa Bob, the rest of the cast (Crystal Bock, Christine Corpuz, Joshua Davis, Sara Oliva) and everyone who has donated to (tAB), without whom none of it would have been possible.

the original short film written and directed by the Arts Bureau cofounder Marci Adilman was recently shot in upstate New York by our amazing Director of Photography Pat Donnelly on the brand new Red One Camera. Thank you to all our crew and cast for such wonderful work. As our editor Alison Guzikoski begins toiling over the footage, check back here for updates and stills. We hope to have the film completed by late Spring.

On Dec. 18th shooting commenced for the Arts Bureau's first short
film, "thinking...," The shoot took place at the Garrison Institute, a
beautiful, former Capuchin monastery. It was shot on the new Red One
Camera, directed by Marci Adilman, and starring Marci and (tAB) co-
founder Randy Harrison. Patrick J. Donnelly was our incomparable
Director of Photography and Dan O'Hare was our tireless Producer.
(tAB)'s Alison Guzikowski is currently editing away!

还有因为这个短片是2007年在12月18号开始拍摄的，而那期间，Randy又刚好在出演《爱德华二世》的舞台剧，所以他的样子和粉丝在《爱德华二世》剧场外看到的差不多，连服装都有相似之处，呵呵，比如：帽子。。。。。

现在这个电影短片也马上要和大家见面了~~~期待ing~~~~~

另外可以想象，宝贝是非常忙碌滴。。。。。下个月这个时候，宝贝又要去演舞台剧了。。。

During filming, actor 'Randy Harrison' was simultaneously performing on the Off Broadway play, Edward the Second, which explains the beard and mutton chops. He would have to leave the set each evening, rush to NYC 2 hours away, perform in Edward the Second, and rush back that same evening or before sunrise the following morning.

Dear Friends of the Arts Bureau (tAB),

Welcome to the Arts Bureau's first newsletter! With two original
productions by (tAB): theatre and (tAB): music this summer and several future projects in development for the fall, we are looking forward to sharing our inaugural season with you. Founded by Marci Adilman and Randy Harrison, (tAB) is comprised of artists of various disciplines working together to nurture and produce original work.

On June 1st, (tAB) was invited to participate in Hudson View, an afternoon of theatre, lectures and readings at the Newington Cropsey Foundation. Set against the beautiful backdrop of the Hudson River, the event was a celebration of the 2006-2007 fellows and an exciting opportunity to recognize their diverse and eclectic work. (tAB) presented a workshop production of its original one-act play, "a heartwarming story, ultimately".

Using four Chekhov short stories (A Misfortune, Misery, Gooseberries, and The Grasshopper) as a template, a heartwarming story, ultimately combines original dialogue with direct excerpts from Chekhov's texts, mixing realism with stylized physicality in order to examine how the shock of loss can create an opportunity for connection and change. Conceived and created by (tAB) cofounders Marci Adilman and Randy Harrison, the play was performed for the members of the Newington Cropsey fellowship on June 1st at Hudson View.

(The Newington-Cropsey Foundation preserves and displays the home and artwork of Jasper F. Cropsey, Hudson River School artist. Cropsey's home, Ever Rest, is listed on the National Register of Historic Sites. Through its work, the Foundation provides an opportunity for the public to experience historical and cultural examples of life in the Hudson Valley in the 19th century, as well as an opportunity to enjoy the works and home of one of America's finest artists.)

(tAB) did a workshop of an original short play called "a heartwarming
story, ultimately", starring Randy and Marci, which they debuted in
conjuction with Hudson View at the Newington Cropsey Foundation in
Hastings-on- Hudson, NY

The play was workshopped at the Newington Cropsey Foundation in Westchester, New York, north of New York City. The place is a cultural arts center showcasing artists, etc. Melissa Boswell, who's on the Board of TAB received a fellowship from New York University to do individual studies there for the 2006-2007 year.

Randy & Marci grew up together in Georgia. They both went to Pace Academy in Atlanta and then Randy went to college in Ohio and Marci went to NYU in NYC.

Randy 和Marci 一起在佐治亚州长大，他们都去了亚特兰大市的Pace Academy 高中，之后Randy去了俄亥俄州的辛辛那提大学的音乐学院，Marci 去了纽约的纽约大学

按国外粉丝的形容，是个有着美丽花园（公园）的画廊，上面没有关于这个剧的介绍，好象是只供会员和内部观看。。。。没有做很多宣传

故事大纲:(据说是Randy和 Marci一起写的)

this boy is dating a girl who likes to wear fluffy bluish-green dresses with sunglasses. One day, he frolicks home from work with some pretty white flowers to give to her, but she doesn't like the white flowers. So she gets mad and throws them at him. So he frolicks away and goes to find another girl in a fluffy bluish-green dress with sunglasses.
wait, it's supposed to be a heartwarming story, ultimately. So the boy continues to frolick around town, looking for another girl in a fluffy bluish-green dress with sunglasses, when the first girl wearing a fluffy bluish-green dress and sunglasses catches him, apaologizes for being such a drama queen, and they both frolick home, and live happily ever after.

The Arts Bureau is a Brooklyn based collective of artists whose
mission it is to produce and nurture the creations of its ensemble
